You will find a variety of techniques and practices here. These are regularly updated
or added to. If there is something that you would like to see feel free to email me
and I will try to put it together and post it here.
Bagua Teacups
A new video detailing some of the movement I will be teaching as part of my Spiral Neigong workshop. Spiral Neigong is part of the Qigong Intensive Weekend I am offering Oct 3rd & 4th. The workshops are open to anyone, NCBTMB CE credit for Massage Therapists.
Rotation
Here is another example of rotation.
Here we use the body rotation to power the arms to create
circles along a verticle plane in front of the centerline.
Take care to stay sung. and let the legs and
body rotation do the work.
Play with the Ball
This is an exercise which helps to coordinate
shifting and rotation into an integrated
movement. Pay particular attention to keeping the
weight in the 3 inner nails when performing this exercise.
Lion Pounces on the Ball
This is a classic exercise used
by many schools of Internal arts. Forward to backward movement
is a form of shifting, with the weight transfering from one
foot to the other. Pay attention to weight displacement through
the feet as you practice.
Freestyle Bagua
This is an example of
Bagua interpretive movement. Simply flowing and moving.
